The IMAQ Walden Joint Venture (IWJV) offers nationwide specialized security, access control, remote monitoring, surveillance, and protective services to the federal government with a total of 70 years of experience brought together under the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Mentor Protege Program. In 2021, the SBA formally approved our Mentor-Protege Agreement, strengthening our team’s capabilities to perform security services for Small Business and 8(a) requirements. In 2022, the Department of Homeland Security designed IWJV as a DHS specific Mentor-Protege team.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of NOK, we are well-financed, well-insured, and have depth of resources to support recruiting, staffing, and project management to reduce risk and ensure reliable performance to guard critical infrastructure. The ANC 8(a) Sole-Source Process

    Agency develops SOW and identifies budget.

    Open negotiations between contractor and customer. Contract awarded (issue notice to proceed)

    Contracting Officer informs ANC and agency they may enter into negotiations and/or joint development of project plan.

    SBA accepts requirement, verifies ANC 8(a) eligibility, delegates contracting office to negotiate award.

    Agency submits sole-source solicitation with SOW, NAICS, place of performance, and procurement history to SBA.

    Start performance.
